Saturday 13th December/ Sunday 14h December:

What a weekend! It was wins across the board for all of our senior sides this weekend at The Paddock. A fantastic way to end the year for our Women’s XV, and great momentum for our Men’s side to carry us into our final games of the year next week. We hope everyone can join us at The Paddock for Christmas Carols!

1XV MEN | SRFC 61-19 Oxford Harlequins

A clinical performance from our Men’s 1XV saw us take an early lead and stay in front until the final whistle. Some fantastic trys, including an unreal finish from Alex Rolfe. We are looking forward to hosting Canterbury at The Paddock next week - we hope you can join us, your support would be much appreciated.

1XV WOMEN | SRFC 48-12 Beccahamians RFC

Yesterday, the Sevenoaks Women 1st XV welcomed Beccahamians Ladies to the Paddock in front of a large and vocal crowd. Under fair skies, the match burst into life from the opening whistle, with Sevenoaks starting at a high tempo and immediately taking the game to their opponents. There was a real sense of confidence about the side, and conditions were perfect for playing expansive, running rugby.

Although Beccahamians proved physical and competitive throughout, Sevenoaks controlled proceedings from the opening salvo. Strong ball retention and intelligent game management laid the platform, while the backs moved the ball with pace and purpose, stretching the defence and creating opportunities across the pitch. The team’s ability to play with width and accuracy kept Beccahamians under constant pressure.

The match also marked a special moment for the club, as for the first time four players who began their rugby journeys at Sevenoaks at junior level featured together in the 1st XV. Charlotte, Maddie, Scarlett and Lucy were all on the pitch again in the second half, a proud milestone that highlighted the strength of the club’s player pathway and development.

In the end, Sevenoaks’ control and attacking intent told, as they ran out deserved 48–12 winners. It was a composed and confident performance that reflected the team’s ambition and ability, and an enjoyable spectacle for everyone watching at the Paddock.

2XV MEN | SRFC 72-24 Deal & Betteshanger

Sevenoaks RFC produced a commanding performance to beat second-placed Deal RFC 72–24. The game began tightly, with both sides exchanging tries, but Sevenoaks began to dominate in the first half and took a strong lead into the break. Consistent pressure, lead by Harrison Chapman’s physicality in the tackle and Billy Boyd’s clinical management, allowed the Oaks to control territory and tempo. In the second half sharp carries from Man of the Match Tom Sarkasin and repeated ill-discipline from Deal opened the door for a flood of points, as Sevenoaks steadily pulled away. A confident, all-round display from the Oaks secured a comprehensive win over a side who had only lost once in the league before this fixture.
