Oaks Senior Squad pre-season training schedule has been announced, with the Senior Squad Kick Off Meeting confirmed for Thursday 21st June at the Club
On 7th July at Sevenoaks RFC, a number of our Under 5 players will be taking on their Dad’s in a round robin tag tournament to raise money for their equipment next season
A team from one of our sponsors, local firm Warners Solicitors will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge in July 2018. They are teaming up with others from Handelsbanken to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) within 24 hours.
The team of 10 hikers and 3 support drivers will travel to Fort William and start their challenge with Ben Nevis, before taking on Scafell Pike in the Lake District. The team will finish the challenge by scaling Snowdon, competing against the clock as the final few hours tick down.
This is a mentally and physically demanding challenge, involving both determination and stamina. Sleep deprivation will play a part and training walks have been organised in readiness for each walker to tackle the ascent and descent of each mountain.
They are holding a curry and raffle night at the Raj Pavilion in Tunbridge Wells on 6th June from 6:30pm onwards. (The restaurant is just 30 seconds walk from the train station!)
Tickets cost £17.50 for a two course meal with £7.50 going straight to West Kent Mind.
