On Sunday 3rd June 2018, we are on a quest to visit 15 rugby clubs in West Kent over 100 miles of open roads - sign up at clubtogetherkent.co.uk
For those not up to the challenge, there are also two 65 mile options. All the routes are circular and riders will start and finish at their own rugby club.
This event is not a race and will not be marshalled. Each rider will be provided with a Strava route commencing and finishing at their own club relating to the distance they have entered. Club reps will be available at each club to assist riders as they proceed, and there will be refreshment stops at various intervals along the route.
Raise valuable funds for Wooden Spoon AND Sevenoaks Rugby Club
This event has been organised by members of Sevenoaks and we're hoping to be able to repeat it each year to boost funds. You can cycle the full 100 mile route or choose one of the shorter (65 mile) Northern or Southern routes. Riders start at their own club and follow pre-planned Strava routes visiting all the other clubs, Entry fee is £50 per rider (includes cycle jersey) whether doing the long route or one of the two shorter options. Each rider also needs to raise at least £100 in sponsorship via online donations for Wooden Spoon and their own club. The more riders that register from your club, the more money you can raise for your club. Who’ll raise the most?
So far 16 clubs have joined up and we're hoping that Sevenoaks will have the largest number of riders on the day. Come on the Mighty Spokes!
More info about the routes and anything else you need to know is on the website, where you can register and pay by card or PayPal. It's important to sign up as soon as possible so we can order the cycling jerseys.
