Match Day Managers 2021/22
Overall purpose: We are looking to recruit a small team of enthusiastic & passionate rugby volunteers who wish to become a key part of the Senior Squad. These roles will join the Senior Squad management team and will provide best in class support to the Director of Rugby, the wider senior squad coaching & medical team on a match day as well as ensuring we provide a professional match day environment for the players at 1st XV, 2nd XV level. Please note we are looking to build a small team of Match Day Managers, with a view of a weekly rotation policy.
Context: Sevenoaks RFC is an amateur rugby club with a strong one club ethos, which believes in being as professional, with a small “p” as is possible. Whilst many clubs that surround us have embarked upon a semi-professional approach we are resolutely committed to staying as an amateur club.
Responsibilities – Match Day Only
Attend home and away 1st XV and/or 2nd XV matches on a Saturday during August-April.
Help prepare the changing room with the management team prior to the squads arrival time.
Prepare match day comms for the coaching & medical teams.
Prepare and manage the video tower & camera.
Manage the match day, warm up schedules, timings and equipment.
Manage and prepare hydration & supplements throughout the match day.
Manage and provide the match day playing equipment throughout the match day.
Manage post game changing room shed duty & ensure all equipment is stored away after the match.
