Clubhouse Management as we approach the end of Covid Measures
1. With (hopefully) the end in sight there is increased scope for the Clubhouse to be used for various off pitch functions, including Team/Squad Meetings, screening of Lions Matches etc. It is important that we maintain a sensible stance including observation of the various rules which remain in place for the time being. I thank everyone for their patience and forbearance over the last 16 months. Nearly there.
2. Whilst there have been some minor tweaks in terms of public gathering rules for Funerals, Weddings and similar, they are not on the whole very helpful for us. Wakes remain limited to only 30 people for example.
3. The Club has however been able to run a bar and catering service within the rules, as we are effectively able to mirror what is permitted at a Pub. Perception is everything, so we need to demonstrate good sense to ensure no issues with either the police or Local Authority.
The following will apply at all gatherings, whatever the occasion, and until further notice:
1. Social Distancing must be maintained, with no grouping or crowds. All visitors must remain seated, maximum of six per table.
2. Table Service only for Food and Drink. Please do not approach the Bar.
3. Face Masks to be worn when moving about inside (not whilst sat at a table). Please also use the hand sanitisers provided.
4. Please ensure you record your attendance (either via NHS App or by writing your details in the book.
That’s it. Provided we abide by these simple rules, we can all continue to meet, eat, drink and be merry
