Sevenoaks Rugby is delighted to welcome Jason Leonard OBE as a special guest at its President's Weekend.
Jason Leonard OBE is the President of the RFU, and kindly accepted the invitation to lunch extended by Sevenoaks Rugby ever-present, Robert Horner, who was President of the RFU when England, with Jason at prop, won the Rugby World Cup in 2003.
These are exciting times on and off the pitch for Sevenoaks Rugby Club. As well as being guest of honour at lunch ahead of the home match versus Crowborough RFC on Saturday (KO 2:00pm), Jason will stop by to see the Club's Junior section in action on the Sunday.

- 12:15pm Three-course lunch (sorry now sold out - but do come to the bar and grab a drink and a sausage sandwich)

Sunday 24 January 2016

President Jason Leonard OBE
Jason Leonard OBE is the first player from the professional era to become President of the Rugby Football Union and support for his appointment ranged from his club Barking RFC to former international opponents and rugby clubs up and down the country.
The game has huge affection for England’s most capped player and Rugby World Cup 2003 winner, Jason having made no less than 290 appearances for Harlequins in a career spanning both the amateur and professional game.
He was the youngest ever to pack down in England's front row when he made his debut in 1990 aged just 21. Fourteen years later he retired with a record 114 caps.
