This weekend saw all our senior Men’s & Women’s teams in action. It was an excellent start to the 1XV Women’s season which saw them win their first league game 64-0 at The Paddock! Read below to find more information out about how all 5 senior teams got on…


1XV WOMEN | SRFC 64-0 Ashford

Following promotion to NC2 a well drilled Womens 1’s side took to the Paddock for their first league match of the season on Sunday. The team put on a dominant display with 10 tries, including a hat trick from Beaman, to win 64-0

1XV MEN | SRFC 28-43 Bury St Edmunds

It wasn’t to be for the men in the new navy and gold Centenary themed shirts. After a good start by SRFC, going 14-0 up in the first 6 minutes, Bury used the strong breeze behind them in the second half and displayed some clinical rugby to take the win.

2XV MEN | Gillingham Anchorians 10-31 SRFC

Our 2XV overcame a stubborn and well organised Gillingham Anchorians and some very blustery weather to earn a bonus point win on the road. In the end, Oaks’ robust defence and some talented play in the wide channels allowed them to run out deserved 10-31 winners.

2XV WOMEN | Old Gravesendians 35-15 SRFC

A combined Sevenoaks, Aylesford and Edenbridge side travelled to Old Gravesendians on Sunday. The team, with many taking the field for the first time, showed remarkable teamwork and determination against a more established home side, ending with a final score of 35-15. Thanks to Old G’s for a hospitable welcome and great match!


3XV MEN | SRFC 41-19 Dartfordians

The 3XV took maximum points in their fixture against an undefeated Dartfordians 2XV. They put in an improved performance to take a 41-19 win, and they will look to build on this momentum this weekend!
