Tag Rugby Festival at The Paddock - A Great Afternoon of Sport and Teamwork

Yesterday, we were thrilled to host a fantastic Year 5 & 6 Tag Rugby Festival here at The Paddock, where 17 local primary schools were in attendance. It was brilliant to see so many girls and boys getting involved in the sport, showing great teamwork, energy, and enthusiasm throughout the festival.

A big thank you to Sevenoaks Town Council for generously allowing us to use the pitches free of charge! And a special mention to Claire Strainge, who did an incredible job organising the event, and to all the volunteers who refereed the games - we couldn’t have done it without you!

Welcome Back & Introducing Our Rugby Management Team

Dear Members,

It’s fantastic to see everyone back at the club and enjoying rugby again as we head into the 25/26 season. The energy across all age groups — minis, youth, academy, men, and women — has been brilliant, and we’re very much looking forward to an exciting season ahead.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to introduce our Rugby Management Group (RMG). This team brings together key leaders from across the club to ensure that our rugby programme is connected, consistent, and of the highest quality — from minis through to seniors, boys and girls, men and women, social to performance. Together, the RMG is responsible for driving the very best provisions across all playing sections of the club. The group meets every 4–6 weeks to discuss all things relating to our rugby programme operations and provision, review progress, and ensure alignment across the club.

Our Rugby Management Group for this season is:

A Great Start to the Day: Mighty Oaks Business Breakfast with Warners Solicitors☕️🥐

Last Friday, we held our first Mighty Oaks Business Breakfast of the 2025/26 season, featuring Louise Brenlund, Head of Employment Law at Warners Solicitors. 

Louise gave an insightful presentation on the Government's roadmap for implementing the new Employment Rights Bill, offering practical advice for local employers. 

It was a fantastic opportunity for attendees to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing employers in our community.

Update From The New Beacon School

The New Beacon Prep School in Sevenoaks is delighted to announce that, from September 2025, its co-educational Nursery will welcome girls and boys from their second birthday.
