Under the stewardship of new Head Coach Adam Bowman, Sevenoaks Rugby Senior Pre-Season training will begin on Saturday 2 July at 9:30AM. This will then be followed by sessions every Tuesday & Thursday evenings at Sevenoaks School from 7:30PM - 9:00PM.
There will also be an hour session every Saturday morning from 9:30am, meeting at the Club.
In the summer months, Adam has moved to strengthen the coaching team, with particular focus on the Strength and Conditioning and Medical Department. The pre-season programmes will be overseen by Connor Brown of Tenax Performance and Jonny Short who have devised, in conjunction with Adam, a training platform for all players to improve various aspects of their game, with specific focus on skills and conditioning.
Head Physio Jess Rugg, and new physio Harry Holder will also be on hand to ensure that players have the appropriate medical care, including rehab programmes and injury prevention.
Ahead of pre-season commencing, Adam said, "It feels like only yesterday that we were all huddled together on the cabbage patch celebrating our promotion to London South 1. Since my appointment, I, along with the other coaches and support team, have been working tirelessly over the closed season to ensure that we have a pre-season programme that gives our players the best opportunity to improve as individuals, and most importantly as a whole squad.
