Like Sevenoaks we are strongly family orientated. We are a family owed business and that underpins our core values. Within our workforce we have several members of the same families who work or have worked in the business over the years and around 75% of our staff and Directors have been in the business for over 15 years which hopefully reflects the positive environment that exists within the company . In addition several staff members children has done a work experience with us before going off to University etc which is something we are happy to facilitate.
Environmental sustainability is an important part of our business and something we would always wish to promote. The majority of the products we sell have full chain of Custody showing their sustainability and legality from forest to consumer and are audited independently via one of the two independent certification bodies FSC or PEFC. We are members of the Timber development UK , the main trade body in our industry promoting sustainability and follow their responsible purchasing policy and their codes of conduct .
