Last night the Government announced new lockdown restrictions which are due to start on Thursday 5th November. The Sevenoaks RFC Rugby Management team have spoken this evening and agreed that all rugby will proceed as planned until midnight on Wednesday 4th November.

The RFU has also released a statement this morning, outlining that they are waiting for further clarification on what the new restrictions will mean for team sports. The Governing Body are due to provide a full update on Tuesday - once we have received and digested this, we will then communicate any changes to the rugby programme for the coming weeks.

You can read the full RFU statement by clicking here.

As ever, your support and patience is greatly appreciated and we will be in touch again on Wednesday evening.

Any next steps will be fully compliant with RFU and HM Government guidance of the day and based on the support and advice of our Club Covid Officer, Andy Clarke.

Stay well and stay safe.
