The camp is open to:

  • Girls U7 - U11 can mix in with their relevant Age Group (The same as they would on a Sunday)

All participants will move around from coach to coach the same as previous years, benefiting from the skills and knowledge of a variety of coaches.

If there are too few girls (less than 20 attendees) then a separate Camp will be run, by one dedicated female Coach, much the same as the 2016 Saracens Rugby Camp last year.

You can BOOK and PAY on the Saracens website. More details below and on their website.

Saracens Rugby Camp Programme Overview:

The Saracens Rugby Camp Programme is aimed at U7 – U14 boys and girls playing age-grades and provides organised, educational, inclusive and structured activities, utilising our experienced, qualified and award winning coaches from the Saracens Rugby Development team.

Coaches will pass on expert advice and professional tips, creating a fun and enjoyable environment in which participants will work closely in groups of the same/similar age covering all rugby aspects. Individuals can expect to cover content specific to their age group ensuring the best possible chance to further personal development on and off the field. The club and experienced coaching staff allow access for all rugby abilities and encourage Tag rugby players to attend in addition to those of an older age.

Throughout your time with Saracens, participants will cover the following course content:

  • Fundamental catch and pass skills
  • Beating a defender and winning a collision
  • How to create continuity in attack
  • Progressed contact techniques
  • Breakdown Management & Ball presentation skills
  • All camps will use adaptive Game Play throughout the sessions

All sessions will involve gradual progression of all techniques and skills over the length of the camp(s)

On all of our courses, each participant will be given verbal feedback throughout the course; providing ongoing information on areas of the game on which our coaches feel they require further development.

On each course, lunch break will be for one hour between the window of 12:00 – 13:30. This will vary depending on the content of each specific course and the numbers taking part.

You can BOOK and PAY on the Saracens website.
