Our boys started off at an impressive pace from the first whistle attacking the visitors and scoring within the first 10 minutes after some good forwards play. The visitors began to put some good moves together but were no match to the power and ferocity of the Tigers who put the visitors under immense pressure scoring two more tries before half time.

The second half started much like the first half with our boys receiving the kick and piling on pressure to score again within 5 minutes of the restart and then scoring a further two more tries in between a visitors penalty conversion. The Tiger’s were camped in the visitors half, applying pressure and turning over scrums, rucks and line-outs at every opportunity.

The tigers put in an epic performance against a well drilled Sittingbourne side by working as a team and getting to the breakdowns in numbers and supporting their team mates. The forwards were superb showing their commitment to each other and producing good clean ball for the backs. The backs were magnificent, by getting the ball down to the flanks where the Tiger’s always had a man overlap.

The final score was a 34-3 win to Sevenoaks, with six tries and two conversions. The boys had an excellent game today and showed us what’s in store for the rest of the tournament.
