Sevenoaks Rugby Club has long-established links with a number of rugby clubs. Our formal link with Saracens is because Saracens has exclusive responsibility in Kent for running the Saracens Kent Developing Player Pathway from Juniors into the Elite Game. Many of our Junior players are on or have been on the Pathway, which starts at Under 13s and goes all the way up to Academy. You can find more information on the Kent RFU website.

The Pathway “provides a high quality, individualised, player development experience, encouraging lifelong participation in the game and enabling those with talent to be clearly identified.” Saracens runs an equivalent programme in the counties of Hertfordshire and Essex. Other Counties / County Boards have Pathways in partnership with other Premiership Clubs.
