On a cold and wet Sunday the Sevenoaks B’s played Canterbury U13’s B on the first XV pitch at the Paddock. The following boys represented the U13 B’s:
Clark, Daly, Fordyce-Gray, Hansen, Hedger, Holland, Lay, Raymond, Thomas (F), Van-Niekerk,
Gustard, Head, Malan, Onuoha, Davis O’Malley, Rumsey, Stratton, Waller
Our boys played a thoroughly entertaining game of rugby against a good Canterbury team which was bolstered by 3 of our own finest players.
The forwards enjoyed an excellent game running riot and gaining possession and ground over our visitors with a special mention for Hansen who dominated in our pack and for the two brilliant tries scored by Van-Niekerk.
This was an excellent test for some of the players and whilst the scoreline was not in our favour the attitude and courage and determination from our boys was magnificent.
