INTRODUCING THE 1925 CLUB MEMBERSHIP
The new way to play a significant part in the development of the whole Club and our community as we build towards our Centenary in 2025
In 2020 Sevenoaks Rugby Club set out and agreed a 5 year rugby playing programme, with specific objectives to grow both our playing and support services across ALL rugby playing sections of the club prior to our Centenary in 2025. To achieve our wide ranging ONE CLUB objectives, significant investment is now required for those objectives to become a reality. With that in mind, we are introducing The 1925 CLUB, a new form of enhanced membership and support for the Club aimed at growing our revenue base to drive our success as ONE CLUB, performing well at Mini, Youth, Academy and Senior levels.

Our ONE CLUB 5 year strategic objectives agreed in 2020
Performance Rugby – the Senior Squad to become an established level 4 rugby club.
Social Rugby – to grow and improve our Social Rugby experience by making further provisions such as stash and medical services.
‘Oaks Post Education Programme’ – to introduce this initiative with a view to keeping our recent Academy leavers engaged with our club whilst away at university.
Academy Rugby – the Academy Squad, to regularly prepare, develop, retain and produce players for Senior Rugby (Performance and/or Social) & adult life.
Youth Rugby to Academy Rugby – to improve playing numbers as an age group transitions from Youth Rugby to Academy Rugby, specifically looking to increase our Academy U16 player intake by 40%.
Girls & Women’s Rugby – to grow our playing numbers throughout the club, specifically looking for each Mini Rugby age group to have 15+ girls playing rugby and to introduce an adult Women’s Rugby team.
Female Coaching – to grow our numbers across the club, with a pledge to have one female coach in every single Mini Rugby age group and identify one female professional coach to work across our Girls Youth & Academy Rugby age groups.
Curriculum & Coaching Handbook – to introduce across the whole club acting as a learning framework for our coaches, and a management quality control tool for driving on field & off field performance.
‘Oaks Coaching Academy’ – to steer a clear coaching pathway throughout the club, developing specialist coaches who provide specialist expertise to our players, coaching opportunities for those aspiring coaches throughout the pathway, and a CPD programme led by our specialist professional staff.
Medical & Performance Services – to expand existing and introduce new services across the whole club where appropriate, that put health and wellbeing first with optimal medical, nutrition, S&C and psychological provisions.
Community Rugby Programme – to introduce rugby in schools where it is not played, offer post school sessions in state schools, and act as a vehicle for Youth Rugby player recruitment and coaching development.
Careers Hub – to provide a careers offering in order to develop our players through utilising our Sevenoaks Rugby Club community network and expertise.
Training Facilities & Equipment – to provide state of art club training facilities and equipment at the Paddock, to improve our 1st XV pitch condition and to significantly reduce the impact of bad weather & a lack of playing space on our playing services.
Rugby Playing Kit & Stash Standards – to improve our rugby playing kit & stash standards, providing guidelines and driving a consistent ONE CLUB culture across all rugby sections.

A yearly membership, seasons 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25
Suggested minimum contribution per year – £1250
A single payment each year or a monthly direct debit are both available
