Oaks came out winners on a wet and windy March morning. It was a tough game with Bromley closing down the space quickly and being aggressive at the contact areas; a fully combative match. Bromley started the better with the majority of possession and territory but Oaks were holding out with a staunch defence up hill and against the wind. As the half went on Oaks managed to carve out a few chances and converted one just before half time, running back a loose kick. In the second half, Oaks very much dominated play by utilising different strategies to pin Bromley down and exert a lot of pressure. Oaks were rewarded with 2 tries with little threat of conceding to win the match 15-0 to progress to the final. This was a tough match in which Oaks worked really hard and the squad deserve a lot of credit for their all round performance
