On a glorious sunny day the U13’s A team welcomed Aylesford Bulls to the paddock with the following boys representing the A team:
Dixon, Latrobe, Satrettin, Killick, Kitchen, Stevens, Lay, Hansen, Thomas, Pearl, Johnson, Smith, Parker, Ebsworth, Brooke, Box
The visitors started brightly keeping our boys within their own half for the first 10 mins. The boys then scored a couple of tries before half time as they began to exert the dominance over their opponents.
Our boys started the second half with some new and returning faces to the A Team and they did not disappoint as they continued in the same manner as the end of the first half. They ran in several tries opening up a margin that Aylesford just couldn’t come back from. Aylesford battled hard against our boys showing great courage and strength as well as playing within the rules and being polite and courteous at all times to both the referee and our boys. Both teams played in the spirit of rugby.
It was great to see all this year’s hard work now paying off showing the tremendous strength in depth we have in this age group. It was very pleasing to see many boys stepping up a level and amazing how far they have all progressed this season. Well done to everyone.
