On this St. Patrick’s day the Sevenoaks A travelled by Coach to a festival held at the London Irish training facility. The following boys represented Sevenoaks:

Our boys played the following teams from their group, Warlingham, Spalding, Eastleigh and Tadley, who are regarded as very strong teams within their regions.

On our first match we played a strong Warlingham and we ran out 2-nil winners with our tries scored by Johnson and Kitch. A great team play by the boys.

Our second match against Spalding saw us romp to victory with tries from Ebsworth (2), Smith and Pearl (2)

On our third match we played Eastleigh, and much like the first two games our boys dominated from the off scoring five tries scored by Kitchen, Ebsworth (2), Smith and Johnson.

Our fourth and final group match was against Tadley, which was our toughest test running out 2-1 winners with Ebsworth getting both our tries.

Sevenoaks A qualified top of their group and went straight into the semi-final against Rosslyn Park. The boys put up a mighty performance against a team equal to our mighty boys. We led with a try from Kitchen and then in the last two minutes of the game, Rosslyn Park ran in two tries.

For our final match, Sevenoaks played Maidenhead for third place where we won 5-nil, with our tries coming from Ebsworth (2), Smith, Kitchen and Lindsey.
