We are in our last year of Tag Rugby, for boys and girls in Year 3.

With a strong compliment of coaches, bringing years of experience of both playing and coaching rugger, SRFC U8s are well positioned for fun and rewarding Sunday sessions.  Being non selective, all players will be given the opportunity wherever possible to represent their club at Tournaments and to join other clubs within the local Rugby Family for training sessions both home and away.  Ultimately, all players, coaches and spectators strive for enjoyment and advancement within a sport we collectively feel passionate about - If it stops being fun, we are not doing it right....

Rugby’s values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship are what makes the game special for those who enjoy the environment and culture they create. They define the game and define England Rugby.

The September training sessions at the start of the 2017/18 season are open to new players who would like come and give rugby a go for the first time. Full details for the season will be published in August, with festivals starting in October. Please do not turn up without first contacting Cory Blackmore (details below).
