Oaks hosted Bromley in a friendly fixture. Oaks enjoyed the majority of possession and territory from the start but found that Bromley were tackling very well and were closing down the space effectively. Against the run of play, Bromley exploited a weakness in the Oaks defence to take the lead. Oaks did eventually break through before the break to make it 5-5 at HT and then went ahead mid way in the second half. However, Bromley responded and led by 2 points with minutes to go. Oaks stuck to it and were rewarded with a well worked try at the very end to win 17-12.
