For the last full game of the season, a squad travelled to Old Brentwood. Sevenoaks got off to a flying start, scoring a try and converting within a few minutes. Old Bs came back and were rewarded after a fine run around the outside of the Oaks defence but Oaks struck back to score an unconverted try from a solid lineout. Despite a couple of missed opportunities, Oaks led at half time and were worthy leaders. The second half was fought in the middle of the park for much of the time until Old Bs broke through some tackles to take the lead with just 5 minutes remaining. But Oaks were determined to end the season on a high and deservedly scored a late try to finally win 19-14. A good game of rugby played in a good spirit by two competitive teams.
