Edenbridge started with the kick off which Sevenoaks capitalised on immediately and ran through the Edenbridge defence, offloading and rucking to a very well deserved team try. The tempo and game play showed by Sevenoaks was immense and resulted in a second try, scored by Keenor which unfortunately was judged to be not in one movement after the tackle. We played some great rugby in the first half ending as strongly as we began. Each of our substitutes slotted in and maintained the high paced nature of the game.

The hosts in the second half came at us with all guns blazing, throwing everything they had but our boys stepped up from the 70% level they were playing in the first half to 100% max power in the second half. Sevenoaks, counter-rucked, ripped the ball and tackled the hosts off the pitch. Edenbridge were camped in the Sevenoaks half unable to penetrate a wall of determination and pure grit which our boys displayed in abundance. No amount of penalties given against Sevenoaks allowed the hosts through. So good was our defence that their coach was begging his players to get the ball out wide as they knew there was no way through. Our running and support play was excellent with some fantastic runs made by Tom (H), Peter, Joe, Sam and Alex. Great determination was shown by all the boys with the following having a great game, Luca, Ramsey, Bodhi, Jacques, Monty and Tom (C). Our tackling was outstanding with Kam, Sam, Alfie, Joe, and Nick all getting stuck in and finally our support play by Frank, Mac, Zac and Kam was excellent.

Sevenoaks deservedly won 1-0 in a highly contested rugby match away from home against a well-drilled team. This was the best match I have seen the B2's play all season which bodes well for the future. Well done boys you made us proud!
