A message from Director of Rugby Roger McKerlie

Young Sevenoaks rugby star Marcus Lyne was badly hurt in a road traffic accident last Sunday morning and I am sure the whole club will join  me in wishing him the speediest and safest of recoveries.

Marcus has broken and fractured many bones and is currently in Kings College hospital in London beginning the slow path to recovery but he is able to move his limbs for which we must be very grateful.

A rising star in the centres, Marcus scored the winning try as an U16 against Harpenden to fire Jens Johansson's national cup final team to victory in the London and South East final and followed this up a year later by being an ever present in his own U17 age group led by Max Skinner. Hopefully we will see Marcus make a full recovery and see him again in the Mighty Oaks colours but for now please spare a moment to think of him and send him your best wishes through the club.
